Cuts offered

Nagano pork is usually distributed in hotel, restaurant, and Québec institution networks. To the delight of all, Alimentation Lucyporc has created six versatile cuts that are offered to consumers exclusively at IGA.

Cooking guide

Nagano pork is at its best when it’s pink in the centre. That way the meat stays juicy and tender. To ensure meat that's pink inside and safe to eat, check the meat’s internal temperature. It should reach a minimum of 70°C (160°F).

Basic cooking advice

  • Don't overcook pork
  • It's ready when the cooking juices run clear
  • Recommended internal temperature for pink meat: 70°C (160°F).
  • Wrap pork meat in fat because it can easily dry out while cooking.
  • Try sweet and salty combos!
