Avec Mélanie

MÉLANIE GRÉGOIRE is a renowned entrepreneur and horticulturist. For over 15 years, her excellent communication skills and contagious enthusiasm has attracted audiences young and old, from aspiring gardeners to those who have yet to discover their green thumb, inspiring them to grow plants and vegetables and making gardening more accessible to everyone.

“I started gardening with my grandparents when I was very young. It was a wonderful way to learn, and allowed me to spend time with the people I loved and to savour the fruits of our work. No one was surprised when I decided to study horticulture after high school. Eager to give back, I began a career as a columnist and writer. My goal was to make gardening accessible, democratize horticulture and, above all, show people the joy plants can bring! For several years now, I have been given the opportunity to share my knowledge while continuing to learn in my own greenhouses, where we grow more than 100,000 plants annually!”

My relationship with IGA began in 2022, when we started discussions to sell seedlings in all Quebec stores. It was the beginning of an exciting adventure and a strong relationship rooted in quality, enjoyment, and a genuine desire to make a difference. I’ve met people who are passionate about offering their customers the very best and who are eager to support local products. It is a real privilege to partner with people who share my values. Thank you, IGA.
