All gift card sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be provided.

Gift cards have no value until activated. Gift cards are valid at participating Sobeys, IGA, IGA Extra, Garden Market IGA, Foodland, Price Chopper, FreshCo and Thrifty Foods stores in Canada. Gift cards can be used for all in-store purchases except as prohibited by law.

Activated gift cards will not expire and no inactivity, dormancy or other fees will be applied. You can check your card balance in-store or by calling 1-800-832-0717.

Cards can be reloaded at participating stores. Protect your gift card like cash. The value remaining on your card cannot be replaced if the card is lost, stolen, damaged or used without your consent. Cards are not redeemable for cash except in the province of Quebec, where provincial law requires remaining card balances of less than $5.00 to be refunded as cash at the customer’s request.

Customer refunds for product returns of purchases paid for with a gift card will be made on a gift card, unless the return amount is less than $5 in which case refund will be made in cash.
