CHEF’S SECRET
You will need 2 bars of Cadbury Dairy Milk S’mores chocolate (180 g each) to have enough squares to make this recipe. Keep the remaining chocolate square for a snack or other use.
How to cut marshmallows easily:
Spray a knife blade or kitchen scissor blades with cooking spray before cutting the marshmallows in half. Or, instead of cutting, twist each marshmallow into two pieces.
Leftover S’mores:
Keep leftover S’mores covered. You’ll find they’re just as delicious when served at room temperature, but not as soft as when hot. If you want to reheat a S’more, place it on a microwave-safe plate. Microwave on high for 15 to 20 seconds, or until the marshmallows on top begin to puff.
Variant:
Follow the recipe as shown but replace the 45 large marshmallows with 8 cups of mini marshmallows, adding 4 cups of marshmallows to each of the 2 layers of the dessert.
Added delight:
Spread 1 teaspoon of creamy peanut butter on each bottom wafer piece before garnishing with remaining ingredients and cooking as directed.
