Directions

  1. Dredge beef cubes in flour.
  2. Heat oil in a large heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-high heat.
  3. Brown beef cubes for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring continually.
  4. Add garlic and onion, and continue cooking for 2 minutes.
  5. Pour in wine, scraping the bottom of the pan well to deglaze it.
  6. Season to taste and place in slow cooker.
  7. Cook on low for 6 hours.
  8. Add remaining ingredients. Continue cooking for 1 hour.
  9. Serve with scalloped or roasted potatoes.
