- Place all pulled pork ingredients in a slow cooker on low heat. Cook for 4–8 hours. Shred pork using two forks and mix well to coat meat with sauce and seasonings. Set aside.
- Preheat oven to 175 °C (350 °F).
- Cut buns in half lengthwise and remove a bit of the bread from the middle of each half.
- Place buns on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Garnish with pulled pork, jalapeño peppers and cheese. Bake for 10–15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and top with lettuce and tomatoes.
