1. In a pot, cook fruit in water for 5 to 10 minutes or until a compote-like consistency is achieved. Let cool.
2. Add apple sauce to cooked fruit. Mix.
3. Line a 12" x 16" baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
4. Spread compote mixture evenly over the entire surface.
5. Dehydrate in oven at 200 °F for 3 hours (or until completely dry).
6. Roll. Store in an airtight container for 10 to 14 days.

Chef’s secret

• Dehydration may take a bit more time in humid weather.
• Be careful not to dehydrate the fruit roll-up too much, as it may become dry and brittle rather than sticky and “gummy-like.”😉
