Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. On a floured work surface, gently stretch the dough by hand into a 30x30 cm (12x12 in.) square. 
  3. Top with puréed peppers, mushrooms, spinach, cheese, and salami, leaving a 1-cm (½-in.) border all around ungarnished. 
  4. Roll up the garnished pizza and seal fillings inside by pressing down on the edge and the ends.
  5. Place the roll with the edge down on a cornmeal-covered baking sheet.
  6. Brush dough with beaten egg and then bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown. 
  7. Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
