- Cook pasta according to package directions. Add broccoli florets for the last 2 minutes of cooking. Drain and reserve 75 mL (1/3 cup) of cooking water.
- Meanwhile, heat oil over medium-high heat in a large, deep skillet. Sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add sausage meat and continue cooking for 7 or 8 minutes, or until cooked.
- Add the pasta, broccoli, cheese, tomato sauce, reserved cooking water, and honey. Stir well until cheese begins to melt. Divide into pasta bowls and garnish with diced tomatoes and chives.

Your little helpers can measure the ingredients and add the tomato sauce and cheese cubes to the pasta. They'll also have fun adding the finishing touch to the dishes with the diced tomatoes and chives.
VARIATION:
Use ground beef or veal in place of the sausage meat. Season the meat with salt and pepper while cooking.
