Chef’s secret
- Carnation® evaporated milk adds a rich, smooth texture that pairs perfectly with the muffins.
- Sprinkle some turbinado sugar on top before baking for a sweet, crunchy crust.
- Allow muffins to slightly cool in the pan before unmoulding them to prevent breakage.
- Add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter for a festive touch.
- Store muffins in an airtight container once they have completely cooled to prevent them from drying out.
- Lightly reheat muffins before serving to bring out the maple flavour.
