- In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, honey and nutmeg.
- Place strawberries and blueberries in a large bowl. Pour in balsamic vinegar mixture. Blend delicately to completely coat fruit.
- Cover with plastic wrap and let stand in refrigerator for 2 hours. Mix once during marination. Scoop vanilla ice cream into four large dessert bowls. Add fruit and top with balsamic syrup.
Variation: For a more copious dessert, place one scoop of vanilla ice cream on a Belgian waffle. Garnish with the fruit and top with
balsamic syrup.
