Heat oil in a skillet set over medium heat.
Add mushrooms, shallots, salt and pepper. Cook 3 to 5 minutes or until shallots soften.
Meanwhile, preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F).
Place naan breads on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Spread barbecue sauce on each naan. Top with cheese and mushroom mixture.
Bake for 4 to 5 minutes or until cheese melts. Top with arugula before serving.
