Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 170°C (325°F).
  2. Place onions in bottom of a roasting pan and sprinkle with herbs and garlic. Set aside.
  3. Combine all glaze ingredients in a bowl.
  4. Place ham on top of vegetables and brush with glaze.
  5. Pour 125 mL (½ cup) of water into roasting pan.
  6. Bake ham for 4 hours, brushing lightly with glaze once every hour.
  7. Remove ham from oven and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before carving. Keep cooking juices to drizzle over ham. Serve with mashed root vegetables.
