Story: Every member of my family loves to cook. We all have a weakness for a recipe we tried at someone else’s place. The recipe I’m sharing with you is for my sister's rosé sauce.
- Fry onion in oil for 3 minutes in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and continue cooking for 1 minute. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 3 or 4 minutes. Add in the cream, Parmesan, and herbs. Stir. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add mussels, cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until mussels open. Serve with a green salad and fresh bread.
Nutrition tip
This rosé sauce will be just as delicious spooned over pasta or a chicken breast.
