Moroccan brochettes

1. 375 mL (1^1/2cups) olive oil
2. 4 lemons, juiced

4. 45 mL (3 tbsp.) ground cumin
5. 10 mL (2 tsp.) fresh thyme
6. 5 bay leaves
7. 1 clove garlic, germ removed, chopped
8. 1 onion, finely chopped
9. 1 kg (2.2 lb.) lamb or veal cubes for grilling
10. 1 orange, zested and juiced
11. 250 mL (1 cup) plain yogurt
12. 80 mL (1/3 cup) of crème fraîche
13. 5 mL (1 tsp.) curry powder
14. 2.5 mL (½ tsp.) mild curry paste
