Directions

  1. Place the onion, celery, garlic, and butter in a heavy skillet.
  2. Cook over medium-high heat for five minutes, stirring continually.
  3. Transfer to a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  4. Using the same skillet, cook the sausage meat (about 3 minutes) and set aside with the onion mixture.
  5. In another bowl, beat the eggs and chicken broth.
  6. Incorporate into the other mixture, adding the croutons, parsley, salt, and pepper, and mix.
  7. Place the mixture into a lightly buttered 9-inch spring form pan.
  8. Cook at 375°F for 45 minutes.
  9. Serve immediately.
