Are packs of frozen peas, corn and fish fillets accumulating in your freezer? A little spring cleaning is in order!
Frozen foods are convenient for last-minute dinners and allow you to eat a variety of vegetables year-round. Here are
some quick and tasty recipes to use up these convenience store foods.
1. Corn
There’s no need to shuck cobs to prepare this roasted corn. Simply place the contents of a bag of frozen corn
on a baking sheet and grill it in the oven with taco seasonings. It accompanies a dish of tofu and Mexican-style rice,
and in just 15 minutes.

2. Blueberries
Frozen fruit is great in smoothies or muffins, but can also be used in savoury recipes like this grilled cheese with
blueberries and brie. It only takes a small amount of frozen blueberries, so it’s ideal for finishing the bottom
of a bag lying around in the freezer.

3. Shrimp
Halfway between a shrimp roll and an egg sandwich, this peppy recipe brings a welcome change to lunchtime. The recipe

There is always some ground meat left somewhere in the freezer. In this stir-fry recipe, pork can be replaced with
ground beef if that’s what you have on hand. There are also Asian vegetables and frozen edamame that can be
mixed with the meat and coated with soy and pad Thai sauce.

vegetarian meal.
