Raspberry Syrup

1 cup (210 g) sugar
1 cup (135 g) raspberries, plus more for serving
1 cup (250 ml) water
1 lemon, zest removed with a peeler

6 cups (1.5 litres) water
1 cup (250 ml) lemon juice
1 cup (250 ml) pink grapefruit juice
Ice cubes
lemon, for serving

Directions

Raspberry Syrup

In a small pot, bring all of the ingredients to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes or until the raspberries have broken down. Strain through a sieve set over a large 15-cup (3 litre) pitcher. Let cool.

Lemonade

Add the water, lemon juice and grapefruit juice to the pitcher. Finish with ice cubes, lemon slices and some raspberries.
