- In large pitcher, combine all the ingredients, adding sugar gradually and tasting until desired sweetness. Add mint leaves. Refrigerate at least 1 hour. Serve very cold.
Chef’s secret
You can flavour lemonade as you like by adding an aromatic and letting it infuse for at least an hour before removing it.
- Ginger lemonade: add three slices of fresh ginger
- Cranberry lemonade: add 250 mL (1 cup) cranberry juice
- Sparkling lemonade: replace 500 mL (2 cups) of wwater with 500 mL (2 cups) sparkling water
