In fact, the owners of IGA and IGA extra stores in the Greater Quebec City region have teamed up to provide financial support to Laval University's Rouge et Or football team. Their contribution will also provide scholarships to student athletes in the football program along with financial aid to several elite-level student athletes on Laval University's Rouge et Or sport teams.
To celebrate this new partnership, IGA grocers of the Quebec City region have decided to hold a contest called IGA et le Rouge et Or, le Match Parfait with over $12,000 in prizes to be won, along with a chance to take part in the IGA lucky half-time throw.
IGA grocers of the Greater Quebec City region are therefore happy to make a long-term commitment to their community by supporting the Rouge et Or football team at Laval University, a renowned organization with a reputation for excellence and passion, and an organization that shares their values.
