Turbot fillets with spicy sauce

Ingredients

  1. 500 mL (2 cups) Compliments Tomato & Herbs Pasta Sauce
  2. 2 mL (½ tsp.) Tabasco or sriracha sauce
  3. 3 garlic cloves, thinly sliced or pressed
  4. To taste, pepper
  5. 4 turbot fillets, 225 g (½ lb.) each
  6. 75 mL (1/3 cup) chopped fresh coriander

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).

  2. Combine the pasta sauce with the Tabasco sauce and garlic, and season with pepper to taste.

  3. Place fish in an ovenproof dish. Pour sauce over the fish and bake in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork.

  4. Garnish with coriander before serving.

Chef's secret
With its firm white flesh, turbot is an excellent substitute for sole, haddock, cod, and flounder.
