Ingredients

30 mL (2 tbsp.) dried savory leaves
15 mL (1 tbsp.) dried sage leaves
15 mL (1 tbsp.) dried thyme leaves
5 mL (1 tsp.) ground nutmeg
5 mL (1 tsp.) ground cinnamon
5 mL (1 tsp.) ground cloves

Directions

Blend all ingredients together.

It's great:

for seasoning meat pies, tourtières, and sea-pies
in homemade creton
to bring out the flavour in red meat stews
for adding flavour to béchamel sauce

Freshness info:

Although they don't spoil, spices lose their flavour over time. Keep ground spices a maximum of 6 months and whole spices no longer than one year!
