Tomato and cheese ravioli

Ingredients

500 g of cheese ravioli (½ of a 1 kg package)
1 jar (648 ml) of store-bought marinara sauce
30 ml of chopped fresh basil
1 pack (142 g) of arugula
60 ml of pecan pieces
30 ml of olive oil
15 ml of balsamic vinegar
salt (to taste)
freshly ground pepper (to taste)
60 ml of Parmesan shavings

Directions

In a pot of boiling salted water, cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
While cooking pasta, heat the sauce. Add ravioli to sauce and mix well. Keep sauce warm while preparing the salad.
In a bowl, combine arugula, nuts, oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add parmesan shavings.
When ready to serve, top pasta with fresh basil and side with salad.
