Three-salami penne

Ingredients

  1. 15 mL (1 tablespoon) Our Compliments® Authentico olive oil
  2. 1 onion
  3. 1 green pepper
  4. 250 mL (1 cup) sliced white mushrooms
  5. 10 slices Sopressata mild salami
  6. 10 slices Sopressata spicy salami
  7. 10 slices Calabrese salami
  8. 1 package (330 mL) Our Compliments® marinara sauce
  9. 30 mL (2 tablespoons) chopped fresh basil
  10. 1/3 package (300 g) Our Compliments® Authentico penne rigate pasta, cooked
  11. 500 mL (2 cups) Our Compliments® Italian-style shredded cheese blend

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté onion for 2 minutes.
  2. Add pepper and mushrooms and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
  3. Add salami and cook for 2 more minutes. Incorporate marinara sauce and basil and heat until hot.
  4. Stir in cookedpenne. Spread mixture in a baking dish. Top with cheese.
  5. Broil until cheese is golden brown.
