Ingredients

454 g (1 lb.) green beans, trimmed

2 cloves garlic, chopped

45 mL (3 tbsp.) Dijon mustard

15 mL (1 tbsp.) fresh thyme

Directions
- Boil water in a saucepan and place a steamer basket on top. The water should touch the bottom of the steamer basket. Add beans, cover, and reduce heat to maintain a low boil. Cook until beans are al dente, 5 to 10 minutes,
- In the meantime, mix together the garlic, mustard, and thyme in a small bowl.
- Drain beans, rinse with ice water, and pat dry.
- Transfer beans to a serving dish, drizzle with mustard sauce, and serve.
