Salmon with honey and dill

Ingredients

  1. 675 g (1 ½ lb) skinless salmon fillets
  2. 5 ml (1 c. café) honey
  3. 60 ml (1/4 tasse) white wine
  4. 1 small onion, minced
  5. 15 ml ou 5 ml (1 c. à soupe ou 1 c. café) fresh dill or parsley, chopped or dill or parsley, dried
  6. To taste lemon juice
  7. pepper

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).

  2. In a baking dish, brush the salmon with honey and pour the wine around it. Garnish with onion and dill.

  3. Bake in the middle of the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until the flesh of the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  4. Just before serving, sprinkle with lemon juice and pepper.

  5. Serve with wild rice and seasonal vegetables (asparagus, broccoli, cauliflower, etc.), steamed.

Heart health info: Salmon is high in omega-3s, a heart-healthy fat. It is recommended to consume at least 2 servings of oily fish per week for cardiovascular prevention.
