Potato, Prosciutto & Cheddar Sizzler

Ingredients

  1. 15 mL (1 tbsp) Compliments Extra Virgin olive oil
  2. 310 mL (1 ¼ cup) grated Compliments Five Year Old Canadian Cheddar Cheese
  3. 1 pkg. (125 g) Sensations by Compliments The Original Prosciutto
  4. 1 white onion,
  5. 1 lb (450 g) baby new potatoes, cooked & halved
  6. 1 mL (¼ tsp) each salt and pepper
  7. 15 mL (1 tbsp) chopped fresh thyme leaves

Directions

  1. Read the Electric Party Grill/Raclette operating instructions before use and set up equipment as directed. Preheat raclette, flat plate up, to medium-high.
  2. Mix the oil with the thyme, salt and pepper. Toss half of the oil mixture with the potatoes and onions. Reserve remaining half.
  3. Cook vegetables on the griddle, turning often, for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Using tongs, transfer the vegetables to the eight raclette pans; drizzle with reserved olive oil mixture.
  4. Top each pan with a prosciutto slice and an equal amount of cheese. Cook under raclette grill for 4 minutes or until bubbly.
