Ingredients

180 ml 3/4 cup yellow onion, finely chopped

2 celery stalks, minced

1 garlic clove, minced

45 ml 3 tbsp. Butter

2 mild Italian sausages (or any other sausage of your choice), removed from casing

2 eggs

300 ml 1 1/4 cups chicken broth

About 400 g ciabatta bread, cut into cubes approx. 1-cm thick

250 ml 1 cup chopped parsley

salt and pepper, to taste

Directions
- Place the onion, celery, garlic, and butter in a heavy skillet.
- Cook over medium-high heat for five minutes, stirring continually.
- Transfer to a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- Using the same skillet, cook the sausage meat (about 3 minutes) and set aside with the onion mixture.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs and chicken broth.
- Incorporate into the other mixture, adding the croutons, parsley, salt, and pepper, and mix.
- Place the mixture into a lightly buttered 9-inch spring form pan.
- Cook at 375°F for 45 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
