Ingredients

1 lb 454 g () Quebec ground turkey

1/3 cup (80 ml) unseasoned breadcrumbs

1 egg, beaten

1 tbsp (15 ml) Mexican seasonings (cumin, coriander, Cayenne, oregano)

1 tbsp (15 ml) vegetable oil (sunflower, etc.)

2 ripe avocados
-
1 lime, juiced
-
1/4 cup (60 ml) coriander, chopped

Salt and freshly ground black pepper

4 burgers buns

Garnishes, to taste: cheese, pico de gallo, lettuce, jalapeño slices, marinated onions, etc.

Directions
- In a bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg and Mexican seasonings. Shape into 4 patties and set aside in the fridge.
- Preheat BBQ to high heat. Brush, clean and oil the grills. Brush patties with vegetable oil and season with salt and pepper on both sides. Grill the patties for about 4 to 6 minutes per side, or until meat reaches 165 °F (74 °C). Set aside on a plate, cover with aluminum foil and rest for about 5 minutes.
- In the meantime, using a food processor, purée the avocado, lime juice and coriander. Season with salt and pepper and set aside.
- Toast the burger buns for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Spread avocado sauce on toasted face of buns. Top with burger and garnish to taste. Serve immediately.
