Melted goat cheese with dates and figs

Melted goat cheese with dates and figs

Ingredients

1 wheel of goat cheese, around 150 g (5 oz.)
60 mL (1/4 cup) Medjool dates, pitted and roughly chopped (around 3)
15 mL (1 tbsp.) fig spread
30 mL (2 tbsp.) grilled pecans, chopped
A drizzle of honey

Directions

Serving suggestions

Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Place goat cheese in a brie baker or an ovenproof dish.
Mix dates, fig spread, and pecans in a small bowl, then spread topping over cheese, pressing lightly. Drizzle with honey.
Bake cheese for 20 minutes.
Serve with toast or crackers.
