Ingredients

  1. 250 mL (1 cup) white-flesh melon balls (Juan Canary or Casaba melon)
  2. 250 mL (1 cup) green-flesh melon balls (Honeydew or Santa Claus melon)
  3. 250 mL (1 cup) orange-flesh melon balls (Cantaloupe or Persian melon)
  4. 250 mL (1 cup) golden watermelon balls
  5. 250 mL (1 cup) red watermelon balls
  6. 750 mL (3 cups) sparkling wine
  7. A few fresh mint leaves (garnish)

Directions

  1. Use a melon baller to scoop out pretty melon balls.
  2. Arrange in a large glass dish in layers according to colour.
  3. Add sparkling wine and refrigerate. When ready to serve, garnish with mint leaves.
