Ingredients

30 mL (2 tbsp.) maple syrup

30 mL (2 tbsp.) Dijon mustard

15 mL (1 tbsp.) lemon juice

2 mL (½ tsp.) salt

To taste, pepper

4 salmon filets (150 g / 5 oz. each)

1 ComplimentsMaple Plank, prepared according to package instructions

4 lemon wedges

To taste, dill sprigs

Directions
- In a medium baking dish, stir together maple syrup, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Add fish and brush marinade over both sides. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Lightly oil the barbecue grill and preheat to medium-high. Turn off burner on one side (or turn single burner to lowest setting). Discard marinade. Place fish on plank, skin side down, and place plank on unlit side of barbecue. Close lid and grill until fish is cooked through, about 15 minutes.
- Place plank on serving tray and garnish with lemon wedges and dill.
