Lemon Goat Cheese and Strawberry Toast

Lemon Goat Cheese and Strawberry Toast

Ingredients

2 slices of Bon Matin™ No Sugar, No Fat Added 100% Whole Wheat Bread
1/2 cup goat cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
1/4 tsp chili pepper flakes
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp dried herbs

Directions

Preheat the oven to 450°F (250°C).
In a bowl, combine goat cheese, half the olive oil, basil, chili flakes and lemon zest.
Brush the remaining oil on the bread and sprinkle with herbs. Toast the bread in the oven for 10 minutes.
Spread some of the goat cheese mixture on each slice and top with strawberries and honey.
