Ham and maple quiche

Ingredients

  1. 5 eggs
  2. 80 mL (1/3 cup) milk
  3. 30 mL (2 tbsp.) maple syrup
  4. 125 mL (½ cup) cheddar and mozzarella cheese, grated
  5. 175 mL (¾ cup) Lafleur P’tit Caprice old fashioned ham, cut into 1 cm cubes
  6. 2 green onions, finely chopped
  7. 2 mL (½ tsp.) salt
  8. 1 x 23 cm (9 in.) pie crust, thawed

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 190°C (375°F).
  2. Beat eggs in a large bowl.
  3. Add all remaining ingredients and combine thoroughly.
  4. Pour mix into pie crust.
  5. Place pie crust on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake on lower rack for about 45 minutes or until the centre of the quiche is well set.
