Grizzly Pulled Smoked Salmon Dumplings

Ingredients

  1. 2 x 100 g of Grizzly smoked salmon (1 box)
  2. 1 package of dumpling wrappers
  3. 500 mL (2 cups) of thinly sliced leek
  4. 1 can (227 mL) of sliced water chestnuts
  5. 1 carrot, julienned
  6. 1 clove garlic, minced
  7. 30 mL of freshly minced ginger

Directions

  1. Heat oil in a large skillet.
  2. Sauté leek, water chestnuts, carrot, garlic and ginger.
  3. Add pulled smoked salmon to the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes.
  4. Stuff dumpling wrappers with the mixture.
  5. Close dumplings, moistening the edges of the wrappers with a bit of water to seal.
  6. Cook dumplings in boiling water for 4 minutes or steam for 10 minutes.
