Green bean salad

Serves 2

Ingredients

  1. 15 mL (1 tbsp.) butter
  2. 120 g (¼ lb.) fresh salmon
  3. 15 mL (1 tbsp.) everything bagel spices
  4. Pinch fleur de sel

Salad

  1. 225 g (½ lb.) green beans, blanched and cooled under cold water
  2. 125 mL (½ cup) edamame beans
  3. 30 mL (2 tbsp.) Sushi à la maison sesame mayonnaise
  4. 15 mL (1 tbsp.) Sushi à la maison Teriyaki sauce
  5. 30 mL (2 tbsp.) almonds, slivered

Directions

  1. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and sear the salmon fillet for 1 minute on each side. Season with the spice mix and fleur de sel.
  2. Cut into 6 pieces. Set aside.
  3. Combine all ingredients for the bean salad in a bowl.
  4. Divide the bean salad between two plates. Place the tataki pieces on top.
  5. Top with teriyaki sauce and sesame seeds. Serve.
