Ingredients

1 unbaked commercial pizza dough

30 mL (2 tbsp.) all purpose flour

125 mL (½ cup) grilled peppers packed in oil, drained and puréed

175 mL (¾ cup) sliced mushrooms

175 mL (¾ cup) minced fresh spinach

175 mL (¾ cup) grated Gruyère cheese
-
12 slices Sensations by Compliments Genoa Salami

30 mL (2 tbsp.) cornmeal

1 egg, beaten

Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- On a floured work surface, gently stretch the dough by hand into a 30x30 cm (12x12 in.) square.
- Top with puréed peppers, mushrooms, spinach, cheese, and salami, leaving a 1-cm (½-in.) border all around ungarnished.
- Roll up the garnished pizza and seal fillings inside by pressing down on the edge and the ends.
- Place the roll with the edge down on a cornmeal-covered baking sheet.
- Brush dough with beaten egg and then bake for 22 to 25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
- Cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
