French Toast with Lemon and Berries

French Toast with Lemon and Berries

Ingredients

4 slices of Bon Matin™️ Multigrain Bread
2 eggs
1 1/2 cups Milk
1 tbsp Maple Syrup
1 pinch of Nutmeg
1/2 tsp Vanilla
1 tsp Lemon Zest
1 cup Berries

Directions

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, nutmeg, maple syrup and lemon zest.
Dip the slices of bread in the mixture.
Drain the bread slices and place in a lightly buttered pan over medium-low heat. Brown for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
Top with berries.
