Ingredients

3 waffles

  1. 120 g (1 cup) all-purpose flour
  2. 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  3. Pinch of salt
  4. 60 ml (1/4 cup) canola oil
  5. 2 tbsp maple syrup
  6. 250 ml (1 cup) plant-based milk
  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  8. Food coloring

Toppings

  1. Dark chocolate sauce
  2. Small Easter eggs

Directions

  1. Preheat the waffle iron.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together all the ingredients.
  3. Divide the batter into 3 bowls and add your choice of food coloring. Pour one of the batters into the waffle iron and cook for about 5 minutes (depending on the waffle iron used). Repeat this step with the remaining 2 batters.
  4. Serve with toppings of your choice.
