Creamy smoked trout and herb spread

Ingredients

150 g (⅓ lb.) Smoked Trout
60 mL (¼ cup) fresh cheese (Quark or goat cheese)
60 mL (¼ cup) 35% M.F. whipping cream
60 mL (¼ cup) sour cream
60 g (2 oz.) Smoked Trout, cut into small pieces
20 mL (4 tsp.) chopped dill
20 mL (4 tsp.) finely chopped chives
½ lemon, zested
A few pinches of smoked paprika

Directions

In a food processor, purée the smoked trout, fresh cheese, whipping cream, and sour cream.
Transfer to a bowl and add the small pieces of smoked salmon, herbs, lemon zest, and paprika.
Mix together and serve immediately with crackers or in a sandwich.

*Chef's tip: This recipe will keep in the fridge for 3 or 4 days.
