Quick Beef & Pasta Casserole

Ingredients

  1. 15 mL (1 tbsp.) canola oil
  2. 455 g (1 lb) lean ground beef or pork
  3. 1 package (19 g) aromatic spice blend
  4. 1 bag (750 g) vegetable mix for spaghetti
  5. 1 can (398 mL) diced tomatoes
  6. 500 mL (2 cups) chicken broth
  7. 1 package (350 g) fresh angel hair pasta nests

Directions

  1. In a large non-stick skillet, heat oil and add ground beef. Use a spoon to break up the meat and cook for about 5 minutes or until beef is no longer pink.
  2. Sprinkle spice blend over ground beef and stir.
  3. Add other ingredients, mix well and cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium-low. Stir and continue cooking for approximately 2 minutes or until the pasta is cooked.
