Beer & Irish Cream Bread Pudding

Ingredients

6 eggs
250 mL (1 cup) 35% cream
250 mL (1 cup) flour
250 mL (1 cup) dark beer, like Guinness
180 mL (¾ cup) Irish cream liqueur, like Bailey’s
60 mL (¼ cup) sugar
6 slices thick bread, cubed
60 mL (¼ cup) soft butter
80 mL (⅓ cup) golden raisins

Directions

Preheat oven to 180 °C (350 °F).
Coat a deep baking dish (25 to 35 cm long/10 to 12 inches) with butter and set aside.
In a bowl, combine all ingredients and add bread cubes and raisins. Mix well. Let the liquid soak in for 30 minutes.
Then pour mixture into the baking dish.
Bake 35–45 minutes or until golden.
Remove from oven.
Let stand for 15–20 minutes.
Serve with custard.
