Ingredients

2 eggs

1 bag (100 g) Compliments Walnut Pieces, finely chopped

125 mL (½ cup) finely chopped fresh parsley

900 g (2 lb.) lean ground beef

To taste, salt and pepper

15ml (1 tbsp.) olive oil

1 onion,

6 Italian whole wheat kaiser bun

To taste, mayonnaise

1 Boston lettuce
-
3 Compliments Romana Tomatoes, sliced in thick rounds

6 slices Castello® blue cheese

Directions
- Mix together the eggs, nuts, parsley, and beef in a bowl. Season to taste.
- Shape beef mixture into six patties.
- Preheat barbecue to medium-high. Place patties on oiled barbecue grill. Cook 6 to 8 minutes per side, or until internal temperature at thickest part reaches 70 oC (160 oF).
- In the meantime, brush onion rounds with a little oil and place on grill. Cook until tender, about 4 minutes per side.
- For the last few minutes of cooking, place rolls on the grill and toast for 2 minutes, or until golden.
- Garnish each roll with mayonnaise, lettuce, tomatoes, an onion round, a beef patty, and a slice of cheese.
