Ingredients

  1. 45 mL (3 tbsp.) diced fresh pineapple
  2. 45 mL (3 tbsp.) diced strawberries
  3. 3 scoops vanilla ice cream
  4. 1 banana, sliced in half lengthwise
  5. 45 mL (3 tbsp.) chocolate syrup
  6. 60 mL (1/4 cup) homemade or store-bought whipped cream
  7. 15 mL (1 tbsp.) shaved chocolate
  8. 15 mL (1 tbsp.) chopped walnuts
  9. 3 fresh cherries

Directions

  1. Combine pineapple and strawberries in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. Place scoops of ice cream in a long, narrow bowl. Place banana halves on either side.
  3. Top ice cream scoops with reserved fruit mixture. Drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  4. Add whipped cream to each scoop and on the bananas.
  5. Sprinkle with shaved chocolate and walnuts, and then top each scoop of ice cream with a cherry. Decorate with mint sprigs, if desired.
