Banana chocolate ice cream

Ingredients

  1. 2 bananas, sliced into rounds
  2. 15 mL (1 tbsp.) lemon juice
  3. 30 mL (2 tbsp.) coarsely chopped dark chocolate

Directions

  1. Mix the bananas and lemon juice together in a bowl.
  2. Spread out the banana rounds on a baking sheet and place in freezer for at least 5 hours.
  3. Purée bananas and chocolate in a blender until smooth. 
  4. Serve immediately. Sprinkle with grilled almonds if you like.
