Ingredients

1 bag (340 g) sliced carrots

500 mL (2 cups) broccoli florets

15 mL (1 tbsp.) original Becel margarine

½ red pepper, chopped

15 mL (1 tbsp.) sesame seeds

10 mL (2 tsp.) chopped fresh ginger

1 garlic clove, finely chopped

To taste, salt and pepper

Directions
- In a large saucepan, cook carrots in a little water until tender, about 5 minutes. Add broccoli and simmer until cooked, about 3 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- Melt margarine in large skillet over medium heat and sauté the red pepper, sesame seeds, ginger, and garlic until pepper has softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the carrots and broccoli to skillet, stirring often to reheat them. Season with salt and pepper to taste and then serve.
