Ingredients

4 Mamzells French Fries potatoes, quartered lengthwise

45 mL (3 tbsp.) sesame seeds, crushed

5 mL (1 tsp.) Lebanese 7-spice blend

To taste salt and freshly ground pepper
Garnish

60 mL (1/4 cup) coarsely chopped parsley

12 mint leaves, chopped
-
60 mL (1/4 cup) pomegranate seeds
Sauce
-
1 lemon, juiced
-
60 mL (1/4 cup) water
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
30 mL (2 tbsp.) tahini
-
80 mL (1/3 cup) plain yogurt

Directions
- Heat a fryer to 180 ºC (350 °F).
- In a narrow container, add lemon juice, water, garlic and tahini. Use an immersion blender to puree until smooth. Add yogurt and salt.
- Place potato wedges in fryer. Cook for 5–6 minutes or until potatoes are golden and crispy. Use the tip of a knife to check doneness.
- Once cooked, drain potatoes and place in a mixing bowl. Sprinkle with sesame, salt and Lebanese 7-spice blend.
- Transfer to plates and drizzle with tahini sauce. Top with parsley, mint and pomegranate seeds.
